Management at MGM Grand Detroit was eager to reduce the annual electrical bill at the facility by $500,000. In an effort to do this, several types of fixtures were considered including retrofit, induction and LED. After side-by-side testing of 12 different types of lights from various manufacturers, Relume parkVUE 40HB fixtures were chosen.
Macy's approached Relume to provide a solution for a parking garage facility in an upscale shopping mall at the Easton Town Center in Columbus, Ohio. The project was awarded on best overall lighting performance based on uniformity, low glare, ease of installation and energy consumption. Relume was also able to provide a 10 year warranty to help reduce life cycle cost for Macy's.
The historic City of Redlands, Calif., chose to retrofit their existing HID street lighting to Relume’s patented LED light engines. The installation, which was completed in November, resulted in the retrofitting of hundreds of lighting fixtures. The city’s objective was to conserve energy, but just as important, to maintain the historic ambiance of its unique downtown.
Through an Advanced Lighting Technology Grant, the City of Frankenmuth received funds to retrofit existing streetlight fixtures. The Downtown Development Authority (DDA) focused on retrofit-kit assemblies from Relume Technologies in place of new fixtures because of the quality and aesthetics of the existing fixtures.

735 Forest is the first mixed-use building within the triangle district of Birmingham, Michigan. Relume contributed to a comprehensive green-building solution with a unique LED lighting solution. 735 Forest has led the way by becoming the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified building within the district.
The City of Battle Creek traffic signal and decorative streetscape upgrade represents the largest LED conversion project per capita to date in the State of Michigan and one of the largest per capita in North America.
The City of Ann Arbor has installed LED streetlights in order to reduce lighting costs and greenhouse gas emissions. After successfully piloting Relume’s LED replacement for their downtown decorative "globe" lights, the city received a grant to retrofit 1,400 downtown cobra-head lights.
